No matter what your field is, the instrument requires a lot of attention concerning not only tuning but also cleaning, transportation and partition.

Musical Instrument Case
Never forget to keep it in its case (padded or velvety). Strings, for example, are extremely sensitive to climate variation and humidity, which can make them go rusty or untune them.
Luthier Lineu Bravo warns for the importance of the upkeep of the case in humid places: “Important tip for you! If you live in a humid place, at least once a month, you must leave your instrument case open in the sun for about 15 minutes, so that it doesn’t get moldy”.
Transport
A musician must watch out for the transportation of their instrument. Apart from the case, it is important to transport them in safe places.
When travelling by plane, guitars must be transported as a carry-on luggage.
Cleaning
Cleaning is a very delicate process. The product must be a proper one.
For string Instruments, you can use dry flannels to clean the wood and the strings to eliminate dust.
Guitars must be kept on a tripod holder. It is not recommend to leant it against the wall, because it may slide and fall down.
